# Introduction

Pepe is building a decentralized ecosystem on the BSC blockchain.

The project's primary purpose is to provide a safe and engaging BSC experience for everyone.&#x20;

The team behind Pepe is focused on building various utilities on the BSC network, such as Pepescan, BSC Token-2023 Standard decentralized exchange as well as games like "Flip a Pepe". The native token of the project is called PEPEv2, a Arbitrum SPL token that serves as the base currency.

The project's primary goal is to create a community of like-minded individuals who are excited about the BSC network and enjoy using it in a fun and engaging way.&#x20;
